Michal Piasecki in collaboration with Ola Wasilkowska recently designed "Assemblage in Public" - a temporary pavilion for Critical Practice in London. The form of the pavilion was obtained through multi objective optimization with genetic algorithms.consulting
Michal recently worked for Joris Laarman Studio on a generative process of "Starlings Table" - a 3d printed piece of furniture displayed on a Joris Laarman Lab show at Friedman Benda gallery in New York.research
Michal is doing his PhD at the Bartlett in London, where he is researching potential use of evolutionary algorithms in online mass customization of products.teaching
Michal is also a teaching assistant at the Master of Science in Adaptive Architecture and Computation at the Bartlett, where he is tutoring on digital studio and morphogenetic programming modules and on the final thesis.contact
