Objectified is a movie which I’m really looking forward to see. I especially appreciate this quote from the trailer: “There is little or none discussion about the objects surrounding – about the process of their creation (design and manufacturing) and about their impact on societies”. The movie is meant to start such a discussion. I hope that it will involve people from all kinds of professions – not necessarily design-related ones and that the issues related to the possible usages of design-computation and digital fabrication (maybe even in relation to current problems, especially environmental ones) will be raised.
